The Alden Armchair is defined by a continuous wood frame that wraps around the seat in a single flowing gesture, forming the arms, front rail, and side panels without interruption. Thick, softly radiused profiles give the chair a substantial presence, while the recessed seat and back cushions create a deep reveal that emphasizes the contrast between the solid outer shell and the floating upholstered interior. The rounded top rail softens the silhouette, and the open cutout beneath the seat lightens the overall form, giving the chair a balanced sense of weight and refinement.
