CUSCO | SOFA

The Cusco Sofa by Giorgio Bonaguro for Carpanese Home was conceived as a modular system of elements inspired by the cyclopean walls of ancient Latin American cities. Its geometric and complementary shapes interlock like stone blocks, forming versatile configurations of seats, joints, and backrests. Designed to adapt to any space, Cusco offers comfort and elegance when viewed from the front, with a striking visual impact from the side. The balance of concept, aesthetics, production technique, and quality earned Cusco the Archiproducts Design Award in 2022. Crafted in EPA-certified plywood, fir, and hardboard, it is padded with open-cell polyurethane and Dacron layers, supported by elastic straps, and upholstered in leather or fabric.
